Kaleidoscopes Winter Kaleidoscopes Start here. Shows some recent wintertime kaleidoscopes and the photos they were made from. The process starts with cutting out a triangle from a photo (angle of 22.5, 45, 30, or 60 degrees). Next, the triangle is flipped over to make a mirror image. The original and its mirror image are then brought together to make the basic image that is rotated in increments and pasted down to make the final kaleidoscope.
