Monday, Oct 8We head north on I-95 to Mims and then west on SR 46. Stop at shelter on St. John's River for picnic lunch. Continue on SR 46W through Sanford. At Mt. Dora, take US 441N, past south shore of Lake Eustis. In Leesburg switch to SR 44W. Continue through Inverness to Crystal River, where we pick up US 19N. Stop for the evening at Holiday Inn Express in Chiefland. Dinner at Seabreeze on the Dock in nearby Cedar Key. Good food, interesting village, several shops and quaint motels near the docks. |
